THE LIFE-CHANGING EBOOK
Imagine attending a seminar where you get to listen to an interview with Bob Olson, answering every question you could possibly ask about how to beat depression.

Bob was interviewed for an entire weekend in front of a live audience. Each attendee submitted questions they wanted Bob to answer.

Now this entire seminar has been transcribed into an ebook that is a complete course on how to beat depression (and bipolar disorder).

EBOOK/SEMINAR COMMENTS
I discovered six major mistakes I was making — six! It’s no wonder I wasn’t getting better. Where the [heck] have you been hiding all this time? Thanx.” ~ D. H.

“Your seminar in print teaches people what our doctors want us to know but don’t have the time to teach us. Now I know when I’m getting bad advice at my support group or online. Many thanks.” ~ M. M.

“I’m so grateful for coming across your ebook. I now know how to help my son. It really is like taking a course on beating depression. I’ve learned more than I ever imagined I could learn from it and I’m only halfway through it.” ~ D.S.

Bob Olson’s extensive knowledge of depression is what guided me from severe depression to living a happy, normal life again. I was trying therapy and reading lots of self-help books, but nothing was working. I don’t know how long it would have taken me to get the ‘right’ help if I hadn't had Bob’s insights. His advice is priceless.” ~ D. D.

“I’m so thankful that Bob Olson has been so open about his disorder and created such an awareness about depression. If I hadn’t learned what I did from him, I might have suffered from postpartum depression much longer than I did.” ~ C. M.

DR. PHILLIP L. ISENBERG
"[Bob Olson’s] book inspires, as it was meant to do, because it tells a true story of a person, who assisted and supported by his wife and by others, persisted against heavy odds to achieve relief from his suffering and gain significant restoration of his health. I recommend this story to you, and I am proud to have played a small part in its unfolding."

DR. DONALD F. KLEIN
"I agree that [Win The Battle] is both inspirational and accurate and that it would be a great help to many patients who are discouraged and demoralized by their seemingly intractable illness. It would probably also be useful to doctors to distribute to their discouraged patients... With regard to book content, I really have nothing to add...It's simple, direct and well written."

BOOK JACKET COPY

"If winning your battle with depression or bipolar disorder is your goal, then this book is your treasure map for achieving that goal."

Thus begins Bob Olson's hopeful and inspiring book. Win The Battle, written for the 20 million Americans who suffer from these disorders and the 100 million who love and support them.

He shares his true story of suffering and recovery--how his bright future dimmed as he sunk deeper and deeper into the ravages of depression, sleeping 18 hours a day and regularly contemplating suicide.

More importantly, this is a book of victory--of winning the battle against depression and regaining a life put on hold. Olson recounts his 5-year journey through  personal hell: His seemingly endless quest for relief from his symptoms of depression included 15 medications and 21 shock treatments--all unsuccessful--before he finally found a treatment that worked.

Olson succeeded because he followed a simple, yet proven formula that will teach your doctors, nurses, therapists, family members, friends and you how to work as a team to beat your brain disorder.

"Awesome Book For Hope And Help ! I first learned about this book in a support group at McLean Hospital. It was recommended to me by the facilitator because my depression was deepening and I was losing hope that I would ever get better. I was even thinking about suicide. I decided to get the book because I learned that Doctor Phillip Isenberg from that hospital wrote the Foreword for it. I also learned that authors Doctor Demitri Papolos and Doctor Donald Klein recommend it as well...

"I am so grateful that my support group facilitator brought this book to my attention. People say the author's formula is simple, but that is why I love it. It is the simplicity of it that keeps me going. When I'm really depressed, I can't deal with anything complicated. That's what depression does to me. I find it hard to think straight. The author's easy steps keep me focused on everything I need to do. I usually can't focus on much else. Mostly, however, this book has given me hope. It is a book that I read every time I feel I can't face another day. Inspiration and hope is what keeps patients like me going when nothing else seems to be working. I loved this book and recommend it to anyone who is depressed. It might not change your life overnight, but it has kept me alive during my most difficult times. ~ Tom Mellor (New York)"

"This book really made me realize that my symptoms and behavior related to my depression are not my fault. It also made me see that I am following the correct path toward getting well, and that is comforting. Plus, it taught me that it may not be easy, but finding a solution is possible, and you don't have to be a doctor to understand this illness... This Is A Great Book!" ~ Anonymous reader

"Written by a guy who obviously knows what it means to be depressed, this book takes the almost overwhelming concept of "How To Beat Depression & Bipolar Disorder" and spells it out in the easiest of terms. Does it mean you will get better next week just by reading it? No. But it teaches the reader what he needs to be doing to get better. And even more, it teaches why there is hope for ending your suffering.

"This is the first book recommended to me by my support group. Over several months, I read the book at least nine times. Today, I have a medication that relieves me of my symptoms. What more can I say. If you suffer, read this book." ~ Roland Hammer (Boston)

Extremely Well-Written For The Depressed. The author states, at the beginning of Part II, that he purposely wrote this book so it is easy-to-read for those of us dealing with depressive symptoms such as low energy, low motivation, & difficulty concentrating. He's right. I, personally, could not get through some of the more difficult and complex books on this subject. It takes a skilled & confident writer to refrain from using the fancy prose & medical jargon, and to remain focused on the simplest way to present his message and the lessons he has to teach. Olson brilliantly succeeded in this regard.

While some may accuse Olson as being repetitive of some lessons, the best teachers know that "repetition is the mother of all learning." Readers of "Win The Battle" will not walk away confused as to what they need to do to get better. If you want a book that requires great intellectual thought, buy something else. If you want a book that will give you straightforward guidance (from experience not theory) and one powerful message of hope, read this one. (It was the first book recommended to me when I joined my support group.)" ~ Anonymous reader.
